A Time for All Ages is hosted by broadcast luminary Spencer Michels.  A contributing correspondent to PBS NewsHour since 1982, Spencer Michels covers politics, education and cultural affairs, primarily in the Bay Area.  He is seen and heard on KQED FM and PBS's NPR television.  Michels has won numerous Northern California Emmy Awards, including two for Best Documentary.  He is a graduate of Princeton University and the Columbia School of Journalism.  Michels lives in Marin County.
