"UCTV" NOW SHOWING
ON MARIN CABLE CHANNEL 26
Comcast Cable Channel 26 is now showing University of California Television (UCTV) every weekday at 1:00 p.m. UCTV was brought to Comcast's attention by the Marin Telecommunications Agency (MTA), which recommended the airing of this educational programming for Marin viewers.
UCTV was launched by the University of California to provide the public with informational, educational, and enriching programming that draws on the vast intellectual, scientific and creative talents of the UC system.
UCTV airs approximately 25 hours of original programming each week, packaged in three-hour thematic blocks. Comcast Cable Channel 26 will show these three-hour blocks each weekday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. as follows:
Mondays, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Science
Tuesdays, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Public Affairs
Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Variety
Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Humanities
Fridays, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Art
